The rugged lands of Wyoming are a perfect place for an adventure-seeking Pokemon. Charmander here may not seem tough enough for such a locale, but don't let this starter Pokemon fool ya: he's quite the capable cowchar!

This is the FINAL COMMISSION of my November batch of 15 commissions that I did in joint with   imperfectflame! :D It was a long process to do this many, and a lot of work, but man was it rewarding to get this far!

This one was commissioned by   charmander, who wanted himself lookin' like a right proper cowboy - he sure makes a great one it seems! n..n

He also paid for a detailed background, and we decided to have me model it off of a photograph of Devil's Tower, a landmark in Wyoming (the big rock in the background of this!). This is literally the most complex background I've ever worked on - and my SAI file had no less than 500 layers by the end of the process - but man am I happy with the end result. <3
