In addition to our usual leather goods, we try to produce small runs of con-specific items which match that year's particular theme. As Anthrocon is all about the vikings, a set of 24 runes fire-etched into alder wood seemed appropriate!
This set is based on the "Elder Futhark" runes, dating as far back as CE 400. In addition to a leather pouch, these will also come with a double-sided sheet which details the names and 'aetts', along with a brief history and links to more info.

Any particular reason you used the reconstructed Proto-Germannic names? The PG roots are not entirely clear so simply declaring Ur to be Uruz (for example) seems a bit strange to me. It's strange to see the reconstructed PG *-z endings used like that.
