First Pantoum by Capps (critique requested)

Lavender scent drifts palely into the room,
As sun and moon trade places in the sky.
Sadness shall find nothing here but doom.
For here it shall find my true love and I.

As sun and moon trade places in the sky,
fate shall grant us power for a kiss.
For here it shall find my true love and I
in the palms of Cupid’s purest bliss.

Fate shall grant us power for a kiss
So passionate the Milky Way will blush
In the palms of Cupid’s purest bliss
With cheerful giggles that will never hush

So passionate the Milky Way will blush
And there is such a place that then
With cheerful giggles that will never hush
The world will know what happens when

And there is a place that then
Sadness shall find nothing here but doom
The world will know what happens when
Lavender scent drifts palely into the room

This was my first ever attempt at writing a Pantoum. I found this in an old folder of poems recently and thought I could post it here and see if people liked it.

Let me know what you think =3
