Thank you all for your enthusiasm and support through my costume reveal shenanigans yesterday! Here is the concept design drawing I created for my newest costume project this year: Dusk the Noivern!

I completely had the hardest, worst time ever deciding what I should commit to making this year. I really do want to branch out from my "doing nothing except Pokémon" thing in the future, and I also really want to strive for 1-uping myself in costume complexity, quality, and badassery every year, but there are several reasons why I decided to go with this character:

He was a very popular choice in my recent DA poll, he's one of my favorite Pokémon from XY and his design was easily cosplay-ready, I already had nearly all the supplies needed to make him (fabric was bought originally for my black and purple raptor character, plus I have all the foam in the world) and therefore it would be the least expensive costume to invest in making, the costume design is extremely similar to both my Aerodactyl and Shadow Lugia cosplays so I am already well practiced in making this style of suit and it will certainly become much faster and easier to put together because of that (I probably need all the help I can get in this area to finish in time, haha).

I will be doing many many more Livestreams, a lot more progress update YouTube videos than I have done in the past, and continuously updating my online galleries- specifically my Flickr album- so you can easily get involved with watching the project come together over the next few months.

Also thanks to my fellow Noivern cosplayer Skyrent for the character name, who also gave me my Noivern in XY :heart:
