Happier with this than I have been with anything in a while… I think I’m finally getting out of a slump I’ve been in! I decided to just go in without overthinking it too much and had some fun as a result.

8” x 10” Acrylic on wood panel, which I’m finding I favor over canvas.

    I really like the face and the lighting in this. I paint with Acrylics all the time but you got a soft pastel like effect I have never seen, very nice.

      Thank you! <3 It took me a long time to figure out acrylics-- I think this is one of the first pieces where it has really come together for me! Still learning when to do dry brush vs wet vs glazes, etc.

        I tend to do a lot of washes, layering works very well with Acrylics.
