Seb stared at the egg in his hands. He'd managed to save it from Rob, but it had a surface crack that had him worried. Normally he would let his Persian eat whatever he wanted, but he'd passed by a Pokemon Professor earlier searching for a lost egg. He'd thought nothing of it until he'd stumbled on Rob gnawing on one. Panicking, he'd snatched it from the Persian, ignoring how hissy Rob got over it.

He heard the Professor approaching and bolted reflexively, egg still in hand.

By the time he realized he may have just stolen an egg from a Pokemon Professor, he was nearly back at the house where he was renting a room during his stay on the island. Torn with guilt over his Pokemon having potentially ruined the egg, and shame for having bolted in the first place, he decided to keep the egg until he knew whether it was still good or not.

Besides, he'd just return the Pokemon once it hatched. Definitely.

Still feeling a little guilty, and ignoring Rob's lashing tail and attentive eyes glued to the egg, Seb returned home. He had some research to do.

For the Egg Hunt event on Pokeparade! Well... Seb was doing good. Old habits die hard. Though in his defense, he didn't intentionally try to steal the egg, he just panicked. Maybe Professor Palm will understand? Assuming the egg hatches...
