I posted this late for a reason. For the love of Flum and all that is Holy; FAVORITE THOSE. Not this cropped jazz.

This was a delayed Birthday gift that Jinx did for me a few weeks back. So it's possible you've already seen it when he first posted it. I honestly feel a little guilty considering how hard he worked on it, and for how long. It was an idea we put together, but MY plan was to have the first page to be basically a grade above stickfigures and just thrown around the main piece. To my surprise, he fully colored and put his best work into it, and I just Cannot gush over these enough.

Though I've had inflation written works in the past... This is the very first visual piece where Bartan has been the victim of it. It might not be to you, but to me it's almost surreal, because last year I went through an identity crisis when it came to Bartan and myself. And I believe Jinx offered to try such a thing for my birthday then, yet... I wasn't quite sure if I would like it, because I was too skeptical about myself. However, the genius found a way around it ("Smiley Face").

This year... I felt more comfortable about the whole thing, so I gave him full control of the inflation parts. How it was to be done (which will be explained a little later), how much damage control there would be, and of course: the size. I honestly couldn't think of a better artist to do it <3 As the latex dragon has said himself: "If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing, right?"

Before I wrap up: Tail Thing.
For those of you who either skipped or didn't quite understand what happened, back in my post-Winter Meta story: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays (named after a song by N'sync. Yes, really) a certain... 'Event' happened involving some magical jazz, and now (along with a new Feral Form) I have a new... 'weakness'? Alteration of sorts? Basically, if you manage to catch Bartan's tail and give it a tug, then a command word; you can manipulate his body against his will. You can make him grow, shrink, transform, gain super powers (like extreme durability), and of course the shown example: inflate. You need to be careful with your words though, and think ahead.
