Little Thief (Colored) by BardaWolf

Little Thief (Colored)

BardaWolf

Caz is not entirely innocent. While his main profession is smuggling much needed medical supplies to isolated people in the macro territory, a noble job, he's not above stealing from the macros. And that's why he's in this current predicament. The macro husky in this one might not even be a cruel giant. He might just be angry about being stolen from, and trying to catch the thief who did it. Caz just tends to be judgmental, from his perspective believing they deserve it. So he'll take what he wants from them and then make his escape.

Reckless as he is, this attitude often puts him and poor Hanna at risk. The horse having to save his hide by whisking him away before they're both reduced to a bloody pulp. Try as she might to prevent it, Hanna's refusal to be involved typically just ends with a longer sprint to save Caz from an angry giant after he's entered their home by himself.

I'm starting to get the hang of these markers. As you can see I still have a long way to go though. Some things that really stick out to me are Caz's pants and his feet. I wanted to give his pants a tan khaki color, but didn't have the right colored marker to pull it off. So I attempted to mix two colors, creating that sickly dirty looking pink. His feet just look two dark.

Caz's coloring was the most difficult part actually. There were very few colors that really fit a coyote in my set, so I did a lot of mixing and experimenting. Overall he came out decent though. Hanna I think came out the best. The markers are well-suited to her patterning and color.

As for the paw pads looking a bit bright, that's an unfortunate side effect of the lighting. Looks darker and more even in real life. My camera just tends to butcher illustrations.
