This was a design done for my lovely friend, who lost her loved one to suicide. She was inspired by my own, and I was happy to do a design for her based on her loved one's symbol, a dragon.

We both lost the same person, though I lost a good friend, she lost her life partner, her lover, her best friend.

I will never forget that night she called us, distressed and how we came over as soon as possible.
The cold ICU, the last time I ever saw him, lying there with machines, and my friend crying on him. And then the flood of tears when we were told he wasn't going to make it.

It's been a few years now, but it stays with us for a lifetime. You never forget that person you cared about, but you carry their memory in your heart.

And with my own struggles against self harm urges, the crippling anxiety, the quiet depression, I have to hold on. I'm sure there are so many survivors out there, and the ones who lost the fight.
