I was issued a challenge by Ironclad to attempt an Overwatch-esque portrait of his shadowjumping superhero, Jamie. I thought it would be an easy feat, considering how often I've drawn this squish, but it was this painting that kinda made me realize how much I need to practice shading faces, considering how long it took me to refine this in a way that looked simple but believable.
