This was actually not as hard as I thought it would be, other than being rather large! I used to joke and call this a mini surfboard =P. Another commission for a friend. They gave me (and I am not kidding you) this tiny picture that they had cut out of a magazine and wanted me to do a large burning of it for them. What a challenge!

I outlined the whole thing first with my skew and was going to use my shader to just make it as black as I could...but decided instead to go with the ball and do littler circles. AMAZINGLY, this turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it!! The circular texture gives the rough, scaly look to the dragon that looks very natural. And to really set him off I then took my shader back and outlines him again to really give him a raised look.
