Chase here is a wolverine I adopted from fellow FBAer Qovapryi - He was written as a character to have served as part of FBA rising star, Scoonie Barrett's roommate, and was designated to fade into obscurity afterwards

However, I fell enamored by how Q (how the league calls Qovapryi basically :3) depicted the big guy... I mean, how can I not? He's loud, he's cheery, HE SINGS IN THE SHOWER FFS! Oh, and he gets up all grumpy and grumbly in the early mornings too, so I can totally relate with him <3

Back on topic, I decided to adopt him, much to Q's surprise, and set his major as a Biomaterials Engineer, so he can fit as an assistant engineer working over at the Biopolis here in Singapore, having gotten a work permit and having moved to the tropical island City-State the pursue a career, along with being drafted into the Singapore Sentinels (FBAverse equivalent of the Singapore Slingers ASEAN Basketball League basketball team) to play during the ASEAN Basketball League games. He also teaches elementary and HS level Math and Physics part time respectively every Friday at the Singapore Sports School equivalent of the FBAverse, the ASEAN Joint Venture Sports School, where he gets exposed to many different people (furries, avians, marine mammals etc), be it colleagues or students from across the region.

Because the stereotype of "Asians are short" being very much a parallel in the FBAverse, Chase is the largest player that has been recruited into the history of the Singapore Sentinels yet, standing at a tall 7'3 and weighing a massive 321lbs.

Although he is slow in comparison to his smaller, nimbler teammates (Delvin, a Singaporean player playing the #4 position being a -mere- 6' 7.5", is the next tallest member of the team), his massive, 8+ foot wingspan are a valuable asset to the Sentinels, with Chase primarily playing under the rim defensively, and attacking at the post. Chase is also a surprisingly decent Free Throw shooter, having dedicated much of his time in the Mustelid Michigan University to refining his shot from the line, considering his cumbersomely large paws (easily being able to palm a basketball).

In short, what Chase lacks in athleticism, he makes up for in size and sheer presence + power.
