A birthday gift for my MIL this year.
Recently my neighbor helped me get to garage sale in town without the baby for some fun girl time shopping.
I bought a bunch of watercolor and paper, as well as other things. Part of the haul was a holy full tube of Daniel Smith PO49!!! She was selling tubes of her mother's old paint for a dollar each. I made a deal to buy them all, her palettes, and other materials. I had no idea however that this was in the box.
I love this extinct pigment and already have poured a pan for a friend (instead of reselling for $$$ I want to enjoy it with friends) I wish the lady was also selling her mom's work. Whenever I buy estate supplies, I like to also collect the maker's work to "thank" them.
This is the first finished art since the baby was born.
