Truth be told, I doesn't look half bad. I can tell it's a female warrior that descended some steps into a garden or nature walk. With her hand being on the hilt of her sword, and her face looking guarded I get the feeling she's either looking for someone that ran in there to get away from her, or that she's expecting danger to leap out at her. The only thing I'm confused on is where the books are and if those are supposed to be light sparks or floating flowers of some-kind (above the stairs). You did a good job on the clouds and putting your own textures in the leaves and grass.
