There's such a great mood in this picture. Scenes on the edge of shadow and light, where only a small part is exposed, while the rest's still emerging from darkness have their unique atmosphere. I like how you drawn the creature's face, it's rough feel, it's high contrast - his eyes focused somewhere behind us.

I'm not quite sure though how well both organic and mechanical type of lines works within one character. His head and the rest of the body seems very different in nature, and while it might not be a flaw in general, it also doesn't seem to be that much intended here. I think making the lines a bit more irregular (and maybe a bit more complexed, but there's a risk here) would help to fight that feeling off.

    But don't mind me, it's late, I'm tired and it's a very good picture : ).

Ah, yes. It is indeed not intended. I started doing the head, then moved on to the background and the coat, I wanted to go for a flatter, less textured surface, and so changed to a more mechanical line. Then when I returned to make finishing touches to the face i forgot to revert to the style I had used, thinking little of consistency. I think youre right though, the change in styles makes the head break with, and almost dislocate from, the rest. I'll definitely try to pay more attention to the nature of the lines in the future, here I must honestly say I didn't lend it very much thought. And thank you for another piece of brilliant feedback, your comment always is such a treat! =)
