This tune plays on the western highway connecting the capital of Contaplia (Rise) with [ Smoke Hill [link] ](https://www.weasyl.com/submission/232087/captive-breeze) during the fourth season of Elancia Chronicles. While this old highway is still used by some traders taking goods by carriage, most travelers now ride the Contaplia railway to get around.

The old road follows the tracks (and the telegraph lines) for the most part, although many times the tracks take a much shorter route, especially when it comes to getting around hills, or crossing rivers. However, when the locomotive breaks down, the player's characters are forced to traverse the old road to reach Rise. Through farmer's fields, and across hills it winds, coming into view of Rise, and running alongside the lake that Rise is at the center of for a considerable amount of its distance.

There has been a recent rash of monster outbreaks in Contaplia recently, so they'll have to be careful!
