Took me long enough :P

Furnal Equinox was last week, and to keep things short, it ROCKED!

...okay, that was a terrible pun, given the con theme this year, but it was that good a time.

After the smash hit that was my "Tour De Fur" walk at Canfurence in November, I had to bring it to my home con this year, and it didn't disappoint. We drew so many fursuiters that we had a parade group almost as long as the Harbour Square Park boardwalk. In total, I counted 41 suiters in our largest group shot. (Plus plenty of handlers, thanks guys!)

Feedback has been hugely positive, and it seems people are on board with bringing my Friday walk back next year! (I already have ideas to flesh out for 2018...)

Of course, the TDF wasn't the only thing going on at this year's con. With the musical theme, FE brought in some musical guests: Pepper Coyote was announced as the con's third GoH (along with Beetlecat and Likeshine), and a local 75%-furry rock group, Xephyr, for some shows throughout the con.

With the new convention centre venue, the musical shows they added to the schedule definitely improved the con experience. I found two musical acts I'll definitely have to follow in the years to come, and some earworms I can't stop humming.

And then there was Wednesday night...

Yeah, that was technically not part of the con, and it was late at night in the middle of the week, but I hit up the follow-up show at Lee's Palace for some extra musical goodness. It was a smaller crowd, but we all knew each other by this point. And yes, I brought my suit to dance to the songs. Suffice it to say, the public event was a great way to send off FE.
