I wonder what story she's reading. Anybody have an idea?
Both Dominic and I are also trying to think up a name for the cub. Anybody got any ideas?
Anyway, being the animal lover she is, she'll probably end up cuddling him after the story.

It has to be Red riding hood and the wolf, but she had better be quick at coming up with an alternative ending.

The wolf is hiding in her grandmothers bed pretending to be grandmother, he has tricked Red riding hood and is going to eat her but her father arrives in time and kills the wolf with an axe.

I don't think Dolly would be reading that story to her fox bedmate. She's an animal lover. if anything, she'd probably be reading something like The Jungle Book. That's the story of a little boy raised by wolves.

That was sort of the point, it doesn't start off badly it's just a little girl taking a basket of food to her grandmother all sounds lovely then it goes really dark so she would need to make up a new ending in a hurry.

Well, with her vivid imagination, I'm sure she'll come up with a happier ending. I mean, if Disney could do it with The Little Mermaid, Dolly could do it with Little Red Riding Hood.

I was surprised you didn't know the story, I guess it's a European tail or originally Russian but it's known in Japan so I assumed it had gone world wide. So......
Instead of Grandmother having been eaten she is hiding in the wardrobe
Instead of the wolf being a psychotic killer he is a new playmate
Instead of the morel being "Little girls who don't listen to mum and dad get their grandmother eaten" it's a new friend and a surprise party - hide the book and throw it away, then forever wonder what people were trying to do to their children. Never read the fairy tails of the brothers Grim even Disney left some of those alone
